The Switchback provides a waterproof headlamp of unparalled quality that will meet or exceed all of your lighting needs. Combining incandescent and L.E.D. lighting choices, Switchback provides five different light output/power configurations offering a wide variety of output and burn time options. With the press of a button, users have the option of operating the Switchback from either the 2 AA-cell headset or a unique 4 C-cell external battery pack. The two independent power supplies offer a totally redundant backup system and burn times ranging from 3 to 200 hours. Offering increased burn time and higher outputs, the external battery pack plugs into the headset and overrides the power supply of the self contained 2 AA batteries. In addition, Switchback if the first Princeton Tec headlamp with a focusable beam, allowing users to adjust the light for better clarity and illumination depending on the application at hand.
